Hansi:– To put effective check on crime and criminals, Operation Track Down was conducted from 1st August to 15th August 2026 under the efficient leadership and guidance of Superintendent of Police Hansi Vinod Kumar. Under the campaign, Hansi Police taking extensive action against criminals nabbed 87 accused in 70 cases.
During the campaign, 18 accused were arrested in 7 cases of heinous crimes, while 69 accused were nabbed in other 63 cases. During action police recovered one illegal weapon and arrested 16 accused in cases of attempt to murder.
Taking action against narcotics, police recovered a considerable quantity of narcotics. 3 motorcycles stolen in theft incidents and one motorcycle recovered in snatching case. While taking action under Gambling Act, police recovered amount of Rs 60,300.
History sheet of 17 accused opened
With objective of keeping effective surveillance on activities of criminals, history sheet of 17 accused was opened during campaign. Their activities are being continuously monitored by police.
427 accused on bail involved in heinous crimes checked
Under Operation Track Down, 427 accused who were involved in heinous crimes and came out on bail were checked. By police teams their current activities and criminal record are being checked while ensuring necessary surveillance.
Superintendent of Police Hansi Vinod Kumar said that under Operation Track Down police action is not limited only to arrest of accused, but effective strike is being made on entire network of criminals. Activities of habitual and active criminals are being constantly monitored and if found involved in criminal activities, strict action will be taken as per rules.
