Hoshiarpur / Daljit Ajnoha: The religious ceremony of Bhoomi Pujan and flag hoisting for the 2,100-Kund Shiv-Shakti Mahayagya will be held at the yagya site in Bassi Gulam Hussain on October 11, 2026, during the auspicious morning hours from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The entire programme will be conducted under the supervision and guidance of Mahant Shri Uday Giri Ji. MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Dr. S. K. Chaddha of the Hinduja Group, and several other distinguished guests from the area will be present to witness this rare and auspicious occasion. Rituals and prayers will be performed according to religious traditions for the successful organisation of the Mahayagya.
Sharing details of the programme, Dr. Harshvinder Singh Pathania said that the 2,100-Kund Shiv-Shakti Mahayagya is a symbol of religious faith, spiritual awakening and social harmony. Such religious events strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood, peace and cooperation in society and play an important role in carrying forward our ancient religious and cultural traditions.
He said that with the Bhoomi Pujan and flag hoisting, preparations for the Mahayagya would move forward in accordance with religious traditions. On this sacred occasion, prayers will be offered for the prosperity, peace and welfare of the entire region.
