Patiala:- Under the leadership of President Ajaib Singh Bathoi and Chairman Jasbir Singh Karhali, NREGA Worker Front Punjab and Shiromani Sant Guru Ravidas Begumpura Mission organized an awareness consciousness march dedicated to Khalsa Sajna Divas and the birth anniversary of the Constitution maker and Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The march was flagged off from village Dandoa for 18 different villages by AAP SC Wing Punjab President Amreek Singh Bangar, President of Bhagwan Valmiki Teerth Sthal Amritsar Darshan Singh Main, prominent social worker Sanjeev Kumar Singla, Comrade Hari Singh and Convener Narang Singh.
During this, various social, religious, political and Ambedkarite personalities also participated. The awareness march started from village Dandoa and passed through villages Mardaanheri, Tarain, Madhomajra, Barnaheri, Gajewas, Chutera, Bathoi Kalan and other villages, and concluded at Dakala, where a closing ceremony was organized.
On this occasion, renowned Bahujan thinker Dr. Ritu Singh, Convener Narang Singh, Raj Singh Todarwal, Baba Nachhattar Singh Bhaini Wale, Major Singh Ramgarh, Master Gurbachan Singh and other prominent personalities were specially honored.
On this occasion, President Ajaib Singh Bathoi, Chairman Jasbir Singh Karhali and other leaders said that the sole purpose of organizing the awareness consciousness march is to make the youth of villages aware about the contributions of Gurus, saints and guides. The life of dignity and respect that we are living today is all due to the contributions of Dasam Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Baba Sahib Ji.
They said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji united all castes by administering Amrit from the same bowl and gave a common code of conduct, bringing everyone together for shared ideals. The Constitution maker Dr. Ambedkar Sahib also made significant contributions towards social equality, human rights and economic reforms in society.
During this, Sher Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Karamjeet Singh, Avtar Singh Kaith, Harbans Singh, Major Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Sukkha Singh and others were present.
