Nawanshahr, September 16:- During a meeting held at the office of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, an appeal was made to the Sangat of the entire area, Gurdwara committees and religious organisations to participate in large numbers to welcome the ongoing Khalsa March dedicated to the Meeri Peeri Day of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. The march, which started from Sri Anandpur Sahib and is passing through the Garhshankar side, will reach Gurdwara Tahli Sahib at around 3:30 pm today. Thereafter, the Sangat and organisations of the town will welcome the Khalsa March near Gurdwara Manji Sahib.
On the occasion, Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society Chief Sewadar Surjit Singh and renowned social worker and Municipal Councillor Param Singh Khalsa appealed to the entire Sangat, keeping in view the respect for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, to reach in large numbers at the pandal being set up near Gurdwara Manji Sahib to welcome the Sangat participating in the Nagar Kirtan.
Those present on the occasion included Society Patron Uttam Singh Sethi, Deputy Chief Sewadar Didar Singh, Ranjit Singh, Sarpanch Langroa, Parminder Singh Kanwal, Jagdeep Singh, Surjit Singh Mehtpuri, Jagjit Singh Bata, Kuljit Singh Khalsa, Baldev Singh, Gian Singh, Jaswinder Singh Saini, Gurcharan Singh Pabla, Inderjit Sharma, Rampal Rai, Gurpal Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Harpal Singh Grewal, Bakshish Singh Saini, Dr. Bhagwan Singh, Manmohan Singh Kanwal, Daljit Singh Badwal and Sudagar Singh.
