The Seed Bill is being brought to occupy agriculture and the agricultural sector as well as the dairy sector are being destroyed and handed over to foreign and corporate houses through a free trade agreement.
Decisions are being made to sell the lands of government departments. Amendments are being made in the labor laws and pro-corporate laws are being implemented. The Punjab government is resorting to police repression to implement anti-people policies. The speakers called for intensifying this struggle to reverse the oppressive steps of the Punjab government and to achieve a solution to the main problem.
