Nawanshahr:- A very large meeting was held at the local Gurdwara Guru Angad Nagar, Nawanshahr, to start preparations for organizing the eighth Mahan Kirtan Darbar dedicated to the 557th Parkash Purb of Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj like every year. In which more than two hundred representatives of all religious and social service organizations from the areas of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana and Jalandhar districts participated.
Baba Satnam Singh of Qila Anandgarh Sahib and Giani Sarabjit Singh of Ludhiana, a famous scholar of the Panth, specially arrived to attend this meeting, who were warmly welcomed by the entire Sangat. Sharing this information, Surjit Singh, Chief Sewadar of Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society, said that as per the decisions taken during the meeting, this year's three-day Kirtan Darbar is being held on November 14, 15 and 16 at the Khalsa Senior Secondary School grounds in Nawanshahr like every year.
