Sangrur, July 25:- As part of the special awareness campaign being run by the Punjab Government dedicated to the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, a documentary based on the life, teachings and invaluable contribution of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj to the society was shown in Gaggarpur village.
On this occasion, a large number of villagers watched the documentary and got to know the life struggle, humanity, equality, brotherhood and social justice message of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj closely.
Village Sarpanch Kulwinder Singh said that Chief Minister S. Under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is taking this unique initiative to celebrate the 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj with devotion and respect and to take his life and teachings to every household. He said that Sri Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, brotherhood and humanity is as relevant to the society even today.
He appealed to the villagers to adopt the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in their lives and contribute to further strengthening the spirit of mutual love, harmony and equality in the society.
