Garhshankar, October 4 (Hari Krishan Gangar):- A grand drone show dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji was organised on Saturday at the football ground in Paddi Soora Singh village of Garhshankar. During the event, 500 drones created captivating visuals in the sky, presenting the life, philosophy and teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji in a highly impressive manner. On the occasion, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri attended the event along with a large number of saints, eminent religious figures and devotees from different areas and said that the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji remain highly relevant even in the present era, and by adopting them, a society envisioned by Guru Ji can be created.
The message of equality, human dignity, social harmony and universal brotherhood of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji was portrayed through the drone show organised by the Punjab Government, which was highly appreciated by the devotees.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri said that this spectacular drone show was an appropriate tribute by the Punjab Government to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said that using modern technology to convey the eternal teachings of Guru Sahib to the people, especially the younger generation, is an effective initiative. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is celebrating the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji with full devotion and enthusiasm, and a budget of Rs 100 crore has been allocated for various events in this regard. He said that various activities, including drone shows, seminars, documentary shows and marathons, are being organised to take the life and teachings of Guru Sahib to every household. As part of this initiative, documentary shows are being screened in 13,000 villages across the state so that the philosophy of Guru Sahib can reach the grassroots level and the maximum number of young people can become familiar with his life and teachings.
The Deputy Speaker said that the Punjab Government would celebrate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji on a grand scale, for which Rs 100 crore has been allocated. He said that the Punjab Government would organise four grand Shobha Yatras from different religious places, which would reach Sri Khuralgarh Sahib on December 3. He said that after the arrival of the Shobha Yatras, the Punjab Government would organise major events dedicated to the Prakash Purab at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has also laid the foundation stone of the Sri Guru Ravidas Bani Study Centre at village Naugajja in Jalandhar, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 24.55 crore. In addition, the Sri Guru Ravidas Memorial is being established at Khuralgarh at a cost of Rs 147 crore. During the event, renowned Ragi Bhai Jasvir Singh Ji also performed soulful Shabad Kirtan. A large number of people who arrived to watch the drone show thoroughly enjoyed it, and the visuals related to the life and philosophy of Guru Sahib created in the sky through drones left everyone spellbound. He said that everyone should participate in these events with full devotion and enthusiasm and pledge to follow the teachings of Guru Ji so that mutual brotherhood can be further strengthened and the message of Guru Ji can be taken to every household. Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri also presented siropas to the visiting saints and eminent religious figures and received their blessings.
On this occasion, Sant Pradeep Das Kathar Wale, Sant Kewal Singh Tap Asthan Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, Sant Satnam Das Gajjan Mahidood, Sant Mahinder Das, President Sri Charan Chhoh Ganga Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, Sant Major Das Halluwal, Sant Santokh Das Ji Ganeshpur Bharta Khanpur, Sant Naresh Singh, Sant Sukhdev Singh Tap Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, Baba Balram Bhawanipur, Rani Mahant Rampur Baheron, Resham Shah Sabri Moila Bahidpur, Sant Baba Balram Singh, Sant Surinder Das, Monika Sai and a large number of devotees were present.
