The women of Adarsh Nagar achieved mutual cooperation and Established “Satikar Mahila Club” with the aim of social service. This meeting took place at the house of Mrs. Harjeet Kaur (wife of S. Sukhpreet Singh), in which Parveen Grover, Manju, Sukhveer Kaur, Manju Narula, Namrata, Mandeep Kaur, Gurpal Kaur, Bimla Devi, Amandeep Kaur, Jasmine, Gurveer Kaur, Many women including Jaswinder Kaur, Swarnjit Kaur and Mukesh participated.
The executive committee of the club was formed in the meeting. In this, Parveen Grover was unanimously elected as President, Mandeep Kaur as Vice President, Harjeet Kaur as Secretary, Manju And Gurveer Kaur was elected as the organizing secretary and Manju Narula as the treasurer. Similarly, Jasvinder Kaur, Sukhveer Kaur and Namrata were elected members.
In future, the club will organize social service, cultural events, festive celebrations, health awareness programs, Recreational trips and other activities related to women's interests will be organised.
Activities in a religious environment started the very next day of the club's establishment. Sukhmani Sahib was recited, in which all the members participated with devotion and the congregation Enjoyed Gurbani. After this, the club celebrated Manju Narula's birthday by cutting the cake, in which everyone came together. Gave good wishes. There was an atmosphere of devotion and happiness throughout the occasion.
