Kharar- The monthly meeting of the Sath Sath Kharar was held at the local Khalsa Senior Secondary School. The presidium included poet Lali Kartarpuri, Pargat Singh Gill Bagi (Australia), Hardeep Gill, President Punjabi Writers' Association Kurali, Sath President Jaswinder Singh Kainour and Pyara Singh Rahi. While reading the paper on Lali Kartarpuri's book 'Vavrolyan De Dil' (poetry collection), reviewer Jaswinder Singh Kainour said that this collection contains poetry, songs, ghazals, nazmas, folk tales, rubais, two songs, satire and children's works.
'Vavrolyan De Dil' is a wonderful poetry collection of Lali Kartarpuri which has the potential to make its own unique identity in Punjabi literature. Talking about the book, Piara Singh Rahi shared information about Lali's multifaceted personality as a writer, singer, playwright, etc. and praised her for performing all the poetic forms used in the book with maturity.
Pargat Singh Gill Bagi, while speaking, gave a message to all the institutions to work together for the service of the Punjabi mother tongue. Hardeep Gill congratulated Lali for her book and also appreciated the efforts/work done by the Sath. After this, Lali Kartarpuri thanked the Sath for the discussion and discussion organized and presented two poetic compositions from the book in Tarannam.
After this, in the Kavi Darbar, Tarsem Singh Kalewal, Khushi Ram Nimana, Rajwinder Singh Gaddu, Dalbir Singh Saroya, Hit Abhilashi Hit, Navneet Kumar, Hakam Singh Nattian, Mahinder Singh Goslan, Inderjit Kaur Badala, Mander Gill Sahibchandia, Gursharan Singh Kaka, Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Kulwinder Khairabad, Pratap Paras Gurdaspuri, Darshan Tiona, Jasminder Singh Rao, Sarabjit Singh, Pargat Singh Gill Bagi, Jaswinder Singh Kainour, Hardeep Gill, Pyara Singh Rahi, Amarjit Kaur Morinda, Malkit Singh Nagra and Sumitra Singh Dost etc. presented their respective poetic compositions.
Apart from this, Bhag Singh Shahpur Kharar, Kuldeep Kumar, Gian Chand Sharma, and Sneh Lata etc. were also present. While performing the duties of conducting the stage, Piara Singh Rahi expressed happiness that the circle of the Sath has become even wider with the presence of poets from Kurali, Ropar, Morinda, Jalandhar and Australia in today's gathering.
