Patiala:- This idol was immersed in the ancient temple of Lord Shiva, Shri Kedar Nath Mathura Colony, in large numbers by all the members of Sudhar Sabha and the residents of the colony and all the members attended and served day and night.
After the aarti, various kinds of prasad were also distributed. On Thursday, 04-09-2025 evening, Babulal, the priest of Durga Mata Temple, and all the members of Sudhar Sabha made yellow sweet chalav and offered it on the big river to pray for no flood. After this, rice prasad was also served.
Today at 1:00 pm, the Shiv Mandali sang the hymns of Ganpati Baba, after the kirtan, a complete langar of curry, rice, halwa and laddu was served in the temple and distributed on the road near the idol of Shiva. For immersion, trolleys, tempos, cars, motorcycles and a large number of people went to Nabha Road Bhakra and immersed the idol with faith.
25 years or earlier, when the festival or development work was not done, all that work has been done by the Sudhar Sabha in one and a half years. The Sudhar Sabha had written to the Honorable Deputy Commissioner for permission to keep the idol in the empty rooms of the temple and to install chandeliers in the hall inside and to build a yagya shala outside the temple for havan.
But due to jealousy, the ancient temple has been stopped by the Sri Kedar Nath Sewa Samiti Reg. This has been told by Accountant Ram Lal Goel of the Sudhar Sabha. We have proof of this through RTI. President Mithun said that Dussehra is coming on 02nd October and Tulsi Vivah on 02nd November, it will be celebrated with great pomp.
Patron Satnam Hasija said that all the members of Sudhar Sabha are serving with all their heart and soul and Chairman Shri Ranbir Singh Kati and Ranjit Singh Chandok MC Ward No. 32 appreciated all the members of Sudhar Sabha. Hoped that they will continue to work with more enthusiasm in future. Patron Satnam Hasija said that Sudhar Sabha will celebrate every festival with more enthusiasm.
