Hoshiarpur- As per the guidelines of Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar and the orders of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal, the District Legal Services Authority has taken a special initiative to provide assistance to the flood affected people.
In this regard, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Neeraj Goyal said that efforts are being made to provide assistance to the victims on the directions of the District and Sessions Judge.
If any person in the flood affected areas has not received the assistance as per the requirement or if any person is in urgent need of essential items of daily life, then he can directly contact the office of District Legal Services Authority. For this, telephone number 01882-224114 has been made available.
He said that the needy person can register his name, address, mobile/WhatsApp number and details of essential items on the said number. This facility will be available 24 hours for the next 10 days due to the natural disaster.
