Una, October 4: On Saturday, Deputy Commissioner, Una, Jatin Lal, paid a courtesy call to representatives of various employee unions in the district, led by Rajneesh Sharma, President of the Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation, District Una. The delegation requested the immediate convening of a Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meeting. The delegation informed the Deputy Commissioner that several important employee demands have been pending for a long time, and a meeting is essential to discuss and resolve them. On this occasion, the representatives also submitted a memorandum of demands to the Deputy Commissioner for discussion at the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner listened attentively to the employee representatives and assured them that a JCC meeting would soon be held at the district headquarters in consultation with officials from various departments within the district, where the various demands and concerns of the employees would be discussed and appropriately resolved.
The delegation included General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation, District Una, Rajesh Kumar, Senior Vice-President Tara Singh, District Representatives of Urban Unit Mukesh Dhiman and Surendra Koondel, Secretary of Haroli Block Prem Jaswal and Member Kamal Kumar.
