Punjabi Sahitya Sabha presented the play "Main Kitne Nahin Gaya" a powerful presentation on social issues

Chandigarh 06 November 2024:- Dipeshkari's play "Main Kitne Nahin Gaya" was organized by Punjabi Sahitya Sabha and School of Punjabi Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh at L Anand Auditorium. In the welcome address of the program, Satvir Singh said that Punjabi literature deserves respect because Punjabi literature has started drama performances along with programs of poets, writers and other great personalities.

Chandigarh 06 November 2024:- Dipeshkari's play "Main Kitne Nahin Gaya" was organized by Punjabi Sahitya Sabha and School of Punjabi Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh at L Anand Auditorium. In the welcome address of the program, Satvir Singh said that Punjabi literature deserves respect because Punjabi literature has started drama performances along with programs of poets, writers and other great personalities. Such programs are beneficial for the better future of literature and society. The director of the play, Jinder Singh said that I admire art, art is not for violence, art is for society. The play we are presenting today is related to immigration and is a play related to true events. The writer of this play is Kulwinder Khairhan. Apart from this, famous playwright Samuel Johnthem Madwinder Korni also attended. In the end, Samuel John said that the actor presents the suffering of the society on stage through the drama and through this presentation he takes the society closer to its truth. The stage was conducted by Manpreet Kaur, President of Punjab Literary Association in the program. Pawan, Dr. Satvir, Dr. Sukhjit Kaur, Kuldeep Singh, Mehtab Singh, researchers and students were present.
