Hoshiarpur- A discussion, free medical physical checkup and blood donation camp dedicated to the selfless service of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji to humanity was organized at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur in collaboration with Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Charitable Blood Bank Hoshiarpur and Livasa Hospital, Hoshiarpur.
This blood donation camp was inaugurated by Sikh Educational Council Treasurer Virinder Sharma, Former Manager Kapil Kumar Sharma, Professor Bahadur Singh Sunet, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh and Inderjit Singh Mann. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh shared the welcome speech and said that there is no greater effort for humanity than blood donation and donation of body parts.
He inspired the students to participate in such social welfare works. On this occasion, Professor Bahadur Singh Sunet, President of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Mission, Hoshiarpur, participated as the main speaker. He gave an impressive lecture on the personality and ideology of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji and made the students aware of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji's life, personality and contribution to the entire humanity of the world.
He appealed to the students to participate enthusiastically in blood donation and other such social welfare works. On this occasion, the students of Khalsa College donated more than 40 units of blood. The medical team of Livasa Hospital conducted a free physical examination of the college staff and students, in which, apart from other tests, ECG of the students was also done.
The personalities present were honored on this occasion. Dr. Vikrant Rana, Prof. Raj Kumar, Dr. J. B. Sekhon, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Aarti Sharma, Prof. Rajinder Prasad, Dr. Deepak, Prof. Anil Kalsi, Prof. Pankaj Paswan, Superintendent Gurpreet Singh played a special role in the blood donation camp. On this occasion, the medical team of Livasa Hospital, including Manager Vikas Thakur, Dr. Jaskaran Singh, staff nurses Simranjit Kaur, Bimla, Amanpreet Kaur, along with staff and students, were present.
