S.A.S. Nagar- A delegation of office bearers and sector residents of Gurdwara Singh Sabha Society Sector 89, Mohali, led by President Gurmukh Singh and Secretary Didar Singh Soni, met MP Malvinder Singh Kang of Sri Anandpur Sahib and demanded that the plot reserved for Gurdwara in Sector 89 be allotted to Gurdwara Singh Sabha Society Sector 89, Mohali.
Providing details, President Gurdwara Singh Sabha Society Gurmukh Singh informed that there is no Gurdwara Sahib in this sector, and a plot has already been identified by GMADA for the religious place. He mentioned that the residents have come to know that some outside societies are trying to acquire this plot, whereas the residents of this sector have primary right over it.
He said that MP Kang listened to their demand carefully and after taking all the information from the Chief Administrator of GMADA, assured the delegation that this society has the first right on the plot of Gurdwara Sahib. The society demanded that this plot be allotted immediately so that the construction of Guru Ghar can be done as soon as possible for the convenience of the local community.
