Patiala:- On the occasion of World First Aid Awareness Day, Chief Trainer of First Aid, Safety, Health Awareness Mission Shri Kaka Ram Verma informed the students of Health Care at Government Senior Secondary Smart School Model Town about First Aid, CPR, Recovery Position, Ventilator Artificial Respiration, Use of Bandages, Fires, Gas Leakage, Electric Shock Circuit, Natural and Man-made Disasters, Heart Attacks, Cardiac Arrest, Saving the Lives of Victims During Unconsciousness.

He said that due to the blessings of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Bhai Ghanaiya Ji along with his companions saved thousands of soldiers from death by giving water to the injured Muslim soldiers on the battlefield, who had come to kill Guru Ji and the Sangat.
According to the orders of Guru Ji, after the injured Muslim soldiers recovered, they were allowed to return home with honor, but the Muslim soldiers were not imprisoned. That is why First Aid Awareness Week is celebrated in the world. Therefore, this week will be spent training students, nurses, players and the public about the humanitarian services of Guru Ji.
Principal Mrs. Naresh Jain and Vice Principal Mr. Bhagwant Singh shared their views on the humanitarian principles of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the International Red Cross Society. They said that in today's times of wars and disasters, according to the principles of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the International Red Cross, as many students, youth and employees should be trained and helpers to save the victims and soldiers.
Nurse teacher Navjot Kaur said that apart from training in first aid, home nursing, CPR, health care, fire safety, the health care students of the school are given training on disease prevention, home nursing of victims and disasters.
Vice Principal Shri Bhagwant Singh and Dr. Poonam Gupta, Hindi lecturer, thanked the students and every citizen for training to prevent daily incidents and save victims, patience, peace, humility and discipline.
They said that only at Model Town School in Patiala, these trainings are given to children as special subjects.
