Russia launches more than 1,300 attacks on Ukraine in six days.

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today revealed that Russia launched more than 1,300 attack UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) attacks on Ukraine in the first six days of September alone. 900 bombs were used in these attacks. Also, 50 missiles of various types were fired. In a detailed statement posted on the social site ‘X’, Zelenskyy condemned the continuous occurrence of Russian attacks.

Also, he called for increased sanctions, strong military support and long-term security guarantees to ensure lasting peace. Zelenskyy said, “Since the beginning of September, Russia has launched more than 1,300 attack UAVs, 900 bombs and more than 50 missiles of various types on Ukraine. Last night, civilian infrastructure was attacked again. However, all essential services are working in the affected areas.
He added that explosions were reported in almost every region of Ukraine in the first week of September. These targeted Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Kherson, Kyiv, Dnieper, Kirovograd, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Lviv regions. Zelensky also referred to comments made by US President Donald Trump about the need for tough sanctions on Russian oil and gas trade.
