Expressing these words, Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha and MLA from Garhshankar constituency Sardar Jai Krishan Singh said in a loud speech that due to continuous rains, flood-like conditions have been created in various areas of the state, farmers' crops have been destroyed and household goods have been damaged due to water entering houses.
Apart from this, there is a shortage of green fodder for animals and there has been heavy loss of life and property. Looking at this situation, he said that at such a time, all Punjabis need to leave party politics behind and go to the flood-affected areas and help their Punjabi brothers.
Deputy Speaker Raudi appealed to all the leaders, workers and residents of the area that we should go to all the flood affected areas and help the affected brothers as much as possible. He said that today food items were sent from Garhshankar block to various flood affected areas and thanked all the members who came forward to help the flood victims.
