Garhshankar- At Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, which is run under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, a quiz competition was organized by the History Department and the College Gurdwara Committee under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji, in which eight teams participated.
On the occasion of the commencement of the quiz competition, Dr. Harwinder Kaur informed the students about the unique martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji.
In the quiz competition, B.A. B.Ed Part III secured first place, B.S.C. B.Ed Part II secured second place, B.A. B.Ed Part IV secured third place and B.C.A. Part III secured third place. The winning teams were awarded prizes by Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur and Dr. Harwinder Kaur. Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur congratulated the winning teams and motivated them to stay connected with their history and Gurbani.
During the competition, the anchor duty was performed by student Jaspinder Kaur, the scorer duty was performed by Daljit and the time keeper duty was performed by Jashanpreet Kaur. Dr. Arvinder Kaur, Prof. Raideep Singh, religious teacher Amritpal Singh were present on the occasion.
