Inauguration of Fibercasing Water Supply Tubewell at a cost of Rs 64.62 lakh in village Singhpur

Hoshiarpur- Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank today inaugurated the Fibercasing Water Supply Drinking Water Tubewell constructed at a cost of Rs 64.62 lakh in village Singhpur. This tubewell has been constructed with modern technology, in which a 250 meter deep bore with 200 mm ID has been drilled. With the completion of this project, the villagers will get great relief from the problem of drinking water.

On this occasion, MLA Dr. Ishank said that the Punjab government is constantly striving to provide clean and abundant water to every village. He said that water is the basic need of life and the government's goal is to ensure the supply of safe and clean water to every household. He said that with the commissioning of this tubewell, the long-standing water problem in Singhpur and nearby areas will be solved.
He also said that the Punjab government is not only increasing water facilities in the villages, but is also doing rapid development work in the areas of roads, health and education. Dr. Ishank appealed to the villagers to focus on the proper use of water and saving water, so that the availability of water remains for the coming generations.
SDO Arvind Saini, Junior Engineer Maninder Singh, Junior Engineer Gurpreet Singh along with other officials and village dignitaries were present at the inauguration ceremony. Village Sarpanch Jatinder Kumar thanked MLA Dr. Ishank and said that due to his efforts, the basic facilities in the village are continuously improving and people will now get clean drinking water. Pradeep Kumar Panch, Deepak Kumar Panch, Balwinderjit Kaur Panch, Kuldeep Singh, Tirath Kaur Panch and many others were present on the occasion.
