He was addressing a gathering of party leaders and workers held at the house of Daljinder Singh Dhami in village Charial. On this occasion, in-charge of assembly constituency Shamchaurasi Sandeep Singh Sikri was also specially present.
Lali Bajwa said that people still remember the development during the Akali Dal government and now people have made up their minds to bring Akali Dal back to power in 2027.
Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government, he said, "Before coming to power, the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to give ?1000 every month to women, but even after three years, not a single rupee has been deposited in the account of any woman. They had talked about providing employment to every household, but the reality is that young people are being forced to leave government jobs and go abroad in search of employment."
He further said, "The land pooling policy of the current Punjab government is going to destroy the fertile land of Punjab and this will prove to be a big blow to the economy of Punjab. The Akali Dal will continue the fight against this policy until the government withdraws this decision."
Villagers including Barinder Singh Parmar, Gurpal Singh Lachhowal, Bhupinder Singh Mahindipur, Gurbachan Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Balvir Singh Johal, Dev Raj, Harjinder Singh etc. participated in large numbers on this occasion.
