Patiala- Punjab Industries Safety Council and Labor Department organized a two-day workshop at Lalru Steel Strips Wheel Limited to provide training on disaster management, first aid, transportation, cyber security and fire safety to factory employees and officials, where Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management, Civil Defense, First Aid, Fire Safety Trainer of the Government of India from Patiala, reached and provided training on saving precious lives and properties during natural or man-made disasters, factories, domestic transportation accidents.

He said that 80% of sudden deaths of healthy people are due to 8 reasons, such as respiratory arrest, heart attack, cardiac arrest, lack of oxygen and glucose supply to the brain, excessive bleeding, internal bleeding or injuries, electric shock, effects of poisons, water intoxication or gas fumes, deaths are happening within a few minutes.
Serious victims die on the way before reaching the hospitals. Because they are not given proper first aid recovery or ventilator position CPR, etc. on the spot. Those who have first aid CPR training, Sanjeevani plant comes in their hearts, minds, feelings, thoughts and habits.
Kaka Ram Verma explained the methods of first aid A, B, C, D, recovery or ventilator position, CPR, use of bandages, rescue and transport of victims. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Narinder Singh, Factory Manager Mr. Krishan Kumar Sharma, HR Head Superintendent Sanjeev Srivastava said that by taking training in First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, every person, employee and youth instills Sanjeevani plant in their hearts and habits and during emergencies they save lives by becoming the helping angels of the victims.
He said that Kaka Ram Verma, who is a retired training supervisor from the Red Cross Society, has been making commendable efforts for the last 45 years by providing this life-saving training to lakhs of students, teachers, police factory employees, NSS volunteers, NCC cadets and citizens to save themselves and prepare the helping angels of the victims. Punjab Labor and Industries Safety Council honored him as the saint soldier who prepared the helping angels of the victims.
