
Tribute to martyrs in Beaton on Kargil Vijay Diwas, family members honored.
Beatan (Una), July 26- On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, an emotional tribute ceremony was organized under the joint aegis of Press Club Haroli and Chaudhary Sports Club Beaton. In the program, while paying homage to the brave martyrs, the families of the martyred soldiers were honored and their unique contribution was remembered.
Beatan (Una), July 26- On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, an emotional tribute ceremony was organized under the joint aegis of Press Club Haroli and Chaudhary Sports Club Beaton. In the program, while paying homage to the brave martyrs, the families of the martyred soldiers were honored and their unique contribution was remembered.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal was present as the chief guest, while retired Captain Omkar Singh and retired Captain Mangal Singh (village Bathu) were present as special guests.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal paid homage to the sacrifice of the brave sons and saluted the courage and contribution of their families. He said that the sacrifice of the heroes of Kargil is an eternal inspiration for the country. Taking a salute from this, every youth should take a pledge to serve the country. He said that such events further strengthen the spirit of patriotism and dedication in the new generation.
Other speakers also said that such events keep the memory of the martyrs alive and strengthen the patriotism and sense of duty towards the country among the youth.
During the ceremony, students of about 11 schools of the area paid tribute to the martyrs through patriotic cultural presentations.
On this occasion, along with the families of the martyrs, Ganpati Gautam of Press Club Haroli, Naveen Mahe, Vijay Rana, Rajiv Rana, Rajiv Rathore, Sulindar Chopra, Naresh Singha, Pankaj Chopra, Nitish Sharma, XEN Puneet Sharma of Jal Shakti Department Haroli, SDO Des Raj Pathak, JE Balbag Rai, Kamaljit Beaton, Vijay Kumar Baba, Manish Kumar Baba, Dinesh Beaton, Yashpal Beaton, Jaydesh Beaton, Sohan Lal and many other dignitaries were present.
