
Punjab government continues to make efforts to ensure clean water supply in remote areas: Deputy Speaker
Garhsankar July 24: Constituency MLA and Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Shri Jai Krishan Singh Rori today inaugurated a newly built water tank and water motor in village Chak Singh. The project has cost about Rs 65 lakh, which will provide clean and safe drinking water to the villagers and the water problem that has been going on in the village for many days has been solved.

On this occasion, the Deputy Speaker said that the priority of the Punjab government is to provide clean drinking water facility to every village. He said that with the completion of these projects, the villagers will get great relief and diseases will also reduce. Rori thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and said that the Punjab government's policy of connecting the needy areas with basic amenities is proving to be very effective and efficient.
The Punjab government is continuously making efforts to provide basic amenities in the villages, so that clean drinking water can reach every household. The villagers thanked the Deputy Speaker on this occasion and expressed happiness.
