
Minister of State for Sports orders cash award of Rs 3.66 crore for coaches of various sports, will get the award soon.
Chandigarh, July 19 - Haryana Minister of State for Sports Mr. Gaurav Gautam said that Haryana's sports policy is the best in the country. The result of this is that our players are increasing the pride of the country by winning the most medals in international competitions. Coaches have a special contribution in preparing these players. The government respects coaches fully. In the same series, cash awards of Rs 3.66 crore have been passed for 31 coaches of medal-winning players in international competitions. They will get the award amount soon. Cash awards will also be given to other coaches and players soon.

Sports Minister Mr. Gaurav Gautam has appealed to the coaches of the state to get the players practicing with more dedication and hard work so that the players can win more medals for the country.
He said that the state government has recently released a cash award of about Rs 32 crore for the players who won medals in the 4 Para Asian Games 2022.
He said that the Haryana government gives an award of Rs 7 crore to the player who wins a gold medal in the Olympics, Rs 5 crore to the silver medalist and Rs 3 crore to the bronze medalist. Similarly, three percent quota is also given in jobs to make the players financially strong.
The Sports Minister said that the aim of the state government is to provide maximum playgrounds, experienced coaches and better sports materials for the players. The government is also working at a fast pace in this direction. Our players are also getting the benefit of this well.
He has appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs and participate in sports and bring glory to the state and the country by winning medals.
