Chandigarh , August 15 - Haryana Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi today hoisted the national flag on the occasion of 79th Independence Day at his official residence in Chandigarh.
Greeting the people of the state, the Chief Secretary said that Independence Day is a celebration of our freedom and a tribute to those countless patriots whose sacrifices gave us freedom . It is our first responsibility to maintain the principles of unity , integrity and democracy that they have upheld.
On this occasion , Commissioner and Secretary of Human Resources Department Mr. CG Rajnikanth , Special Secretary of Personnel , Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department Dr. Aditya Dahiya , Special Secretary of Monitoring and Coordination Dr. Priyanka Soni , Special Secretary of Secretariat Establishment Mr. Sanwartak Singh Khangwal , officers and employees of Haryana Civil Secretariat were present.
