Mandi Gobindgarh, October 12 - Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated Dussehra with great pomp. Every festival is celebrated in the school with great devotion and passion. A special program was organized on this occasion. The children of DBGS performed a play depicting Ravana's end as a death of pride and evil.
Students presented Shri Ram as a symbol of positivity through a dance performance. The girls of class 6 also presented a mesmerizing garba dance. Pre-primary teachers performed beautiful poetry through an act. An effigy of Ravana was blown up in the school campus. The Principal of the school Mrs. Indu Sharma in her address informed the students about the virtuous character of Ram to win over all evils.
They all wished Dussehra. Desh Bhagat Global School Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur extended their best wishes and blessings to all the staff and students on this auspicious occasion.
