With the aim of keeping the municipal corporation area safe, clean and disease-free from the health point of view before the onset of the rainy season, this campaign is being conducted in a phased manner in all the wards of the corporation.
Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that the possibility of breeding of mosquitoes is highest in the hot and humid season, which increases the risk of dengue and other infectious diseases. In such a situation, it is very important to adopt preventive measures in time. Keeping this in mind, the Municipal Corporation has prepared an action plan to get fogging done in the entire city area with the cooperation of the Health Department.
Under this campaign, fogging is being done regularly in streets, drains, waterlogged areas, school premises, public places and settlements. At the same time, citizens are also being made aware to prevent mosquito-borne diseases. Corporation teams are going door-to-door and appealing to people to maintain cleanliness, remove stagnant water and take necessary precautions.
Shri Gurjar appealed to all the citizens to take care of cleanliness in and around the house. Do not let water accumulate inside and around the house. Regularly empty the water collected in coolers, pots, buckets etc. Use mosquito repellent medicines safely and keep all water containers covered.
He has urged all the citizens to actively cooperate in this campaign, so that with joint efforts the city area can be made clean and safe from the health point of view.
