
Surjit Mazari became the President of Navjot Sahitya Sanstha Aud, Rajinder Jassal became the Secretary
Aud, January 19- The annual election of Navjot Sahitya Sanstha Aud was held unanimously, in which Surjit Mazari was elected President and Rajinder Jassal was elected Secretary. He thanked all the members of the organization for this honor and said that he will maintain the literary traditions of the organization with full devotion. He said that this year, along with other activities, literary cooperation will be further increased with the cooperation of educational institutions and panchayats.

During this election, Madam Amar Jind has been included as Vice President, Madam Harbans Kaur as Assistant Secretary, Hari Kishan Patwari as Treasurer, Davinder Skohpuri as Assistant Treasurer, Binder Mallabedian as Press Secretary and Raj Sohi as Social Media Incharge. Apart from these, Dr. Kewal Ram Mahe, Des Raj Bali, Madam Neeru Jassal, Pyara Lal Bangar, Davinder Begumpuri were elected as executive members.
While Harminder Harry, Chaman Mallpuri, Suchha Ram Jadla, Ram Nath Kataria, Prahlad Atwal have been appointed as the heads of various sub-committees. This selection process was completed under the guidance of the famous Ghazal singer Gurdayal Roshan, founder of the organization, under the leadership of the former president of the organization Satpal Sahlon, Rajni Sharma and Gurnek 'Sher'.
The new team also appealed to everyone to participate in creating an environment of creative literary society for the promotion of mother tongue. It is worth mentioning that this organization has published forty books of prose and poetry.
