Mahilpur, February 15- Dr. Parvinder Singh took over as regular Principal of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, a college under the management of Sikh Educational Council. In the interview conducted today by the joint selection panel of Punjab Government and Punjab University Chandigarh, he was selected as a candidate for the post of regular Principal of the college.
Earlier Dr. Parvinder Singh was serving as the Acting Principal of the college. Today he took over the charge in the presence of the office bearers of the Sikh Educational Council. Today he along with the office bearers of the Council paid obeisance at the Gurudwara Sahiban of the college and participated in the Chhari Kala Ardaas of the institution.
On this occasion, he said that Khalsa College Mahilpur has brightened the future of lakhs of students in the field of higher education. He said that he is proud to receive education from this institution and to take over the post of Principal.
He thanked the Managing Committee of the college.
