On this occasion, former president of the society and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora said that Shri Chandra Prakash Saini went to the flood-affected areas and provided service and financial assistance to the people, which is very commendable.
He tried to protect people from diseases by going to 85 villages and fogging various places like schools etc. Shri Arora said that Shri Saini is also providing his services as a nodal officer in Civil Defense and is always trying to help the needy.
Especially, students and needy people are getting benefits from the efforts of Shri Saini. Therefore, the Rotary Eye Bank Society feels proud of such people who give their support, time and financial help to the society and they are honored by the society.
President JB Bahl said that the contribution of Shri Chandra Prakash Saini in the world of education cannot be forgotten and such teachers are the source of inspiration for the society who from time to time strive to help children along with their studies.
Shri Chandra Prakash Saini thanked the society while receiving the honor and said that the reason why he has received this honor today, he assures that he will serve in the social field more than before because this honor has increased his pride.
He also appealed to other people to also come forward to help the flood victims so that they can become partners in their suffering. Veena Chopra, Madan Lal Mahajan, Prof. Daljit Singh, Jasbir Kanwar, Vijay Arora, Ashwini Dutta, Krishan Kishore, Akhil Sood and others were present on this occasion.
