Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that as per the instructions issued by the Punjab Government, seminars will be held in the educational institutions of the district on the occasion of Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Manav Sewa Sankalp Diwas on September 20. She said that Bhai Ghanaiya Ji is known as the pillar of service. 
His concept of brotherhood and solidarity is of utmost importance in the present era and today's young generation needs to take guidance from it. She directed the District Education Officer (Secondary) to ensure that this day is celebrated in the schools under their jurisdiction. Apart from this, she has also directed the colleges of the district to celebrate this day.
