Nawanshahr: As per the guidelines of National Legal Services Authority and under the orders received from Honorable Member Secretary Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar; Under the guidelines of District and Sessions Judge Honorable Priya Sood and Dr. Amandeep CJM cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar; Paralegal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Vasdev Pardesi and Des Raj Bali organized a legal awareness seminar at Government Middle Smart School, Village Chuharpur.
Speaking on the occasion, he gave information about the POCSO Act and said that if someone harasses children; physically molests them in an inappropriate manner, shows them obscene videos, sends wrong messages, mentally harasses them or in case of any kind of unpleasant incident, children should definitely inform their parents and teachers, or call the children's helpline number 1098 to get help.
On this occasion, school principal Suresh Chand Sharma, Gurnek Singh, Ram Lal State Awardee, Ravneet, Parminder Kaur Kamaljit Kaur and school staff members were present.
