SAS Nagar, April 11- Friends Sports and Whole Welfare Society will hold its 5th blood donation camp on April 12 at Geo Star Hospital, Sector 82, SAS Nagar (Mohali). Society President Amarjit Singh stated that the camp is dedicated to the late Dr. SS Gill (former Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid Medical University, Faridkot), the late Councilor Sardar Amrik Singh Tehsildar, and Sardarni Manjit Kaur.
Geo Star Hospital Director Joydeep Das Gupta announced that Dr. Raj Bahadur, former Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid Medical University, Faridkot, will be the chief guest. Dr. Seema Rai, Chairperson of the Stem Cell Department at Punjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. Amandeep Singh, Principal of the Physiotherapy Department at Chitkara University, and Harpreet Singh Advocate will also be present as special guests.
Society General Secretary Arvinderpal Singh and Secretary Jasjit Singh stated that the Blood Bank Society PGI Chandigarh will collect blood units from the donors at the camp. S. Harvinder Singh Sidhu Advocate, Er. Satinderpal Singh, Er. Jugwinder Singh, Er. Sudeep Singh, Er. Jaspreet Singh, S. Davinder Singh, S. Satikarjit Singh, S. Hardeep Singh, Madam Santosh, and S. Narinder Singh said that the organization has started a campaign to raise awareness among people to donate blood in this blood donation camp, so that more and more people can be motivated to donate blood.
