Haryana/Hisar: Secretary of Haryana School Education Board and Additional District Deputy Commissioner of Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani Munish Nagpal, along with his wife Kalyani Nagpal, on the occasion of Shivratri of Shravan month, performed Rudrabhishek and worshiped Lord Bholenath with full devotion and rituals in the premises of Lord Shiva Shankar Ji's temple in Hisar.
On this occasion, Additional District Deputy Commissioner Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri Munish Nagpal, wishing happiness, prosperity and auspicious life to all the devotees of Lord Shiva, said that Shravan month, especially the day of Shivratri, is the best opportunity for spiritual purification, faith and connecting with God.
On this holy festival, we should take a pledge to understand and adopt the importance of religion more. Senior social worker Rajkumar Bajaj, who was present on the occasion, said that to keep the identity of Sanatan Dharma alive, every Sanatani must apply a tilak on his forehead. When other communities express their religious identity with a special symbol like cap etc., then the Hindu society should also have a special identity in the form of a tilak. It is not only a symbol of our religious faith, but also represents our culture, tradition and pride.
He appealed to the youth to proudly adopt their religion and culture, propagate it and make the coming generations aware of its importance. Explaining the importance of cow service, he said that cow mother has the highest place in our religion and it is the duty of every Sanatani to serve cow mother. Some people of Jaichand nature do reprehensible acts by insulting cow mother, there is a need to be cautious of such people.
Kalyani Nagpal, wife of Additional District Magistrate Munish Nagpal, said that religious sentiments, service and dedication are the basis of society which strengthen our faith. When society connects with the basic elements of religion, only then it progresses in the true sense. Local devotees and social workers were also present on this occasion. Prasad was distributed after Rudrabhishek in the temple premises and everyone earned merit by chanting the praises of Lord Shiva.
