On Sukhwinder Pappi's novel "Dhart Vihune" Goshti and Kavi Darbar were held

Nawanshahr - Today, Doaba Sahitya Sabha Nawanshahr and Doaba Arya Senior Secondary School organized Goshti and Poet Durbar on Sukhwinder Pappi's novel 'Dhart Vihune' at Doaba Senior Secondary School Nawanshahr. It was chaired by Prof. Sandhu Varyanvi, Darshan Singh Khatkar, Prof. Balwinder Singh Chahal, Navtej Garhdiwala and Balwinder Singh Grewal. Mukesh Malaud was present as the special guest.

Principal of the school Rajinder Singh Gill welcomed. While reading a critical paper on the novel, Prof. Balwinder Singh Chahal said that this novel by Sukhwinder Pappi is unique in many ways. In which the main characters Veeran Pittar fights against the power, the Dalit woman's self-respect and the right to land. Heroine creates her own heroism. The other characters of this novel are Sandeep Sandhu and Biru Sanjeev. Darshan Singh Khatkar, Prof. Balwinder Singh Grewal, Navtej Garhdiwala, Prof. Bhajan Singh Gill, Prof. Sandhu Varyanvi and Dr. Kewal Ram Nawanshahr said that the novel marks the land struggle and it also talks about the existence of landless Dalits. In the novel, the soul of Punjab's labor speaks through Biru character and it is Ajim character. Buta Singh Mehmood Pur, Daljit Singh Advocate and Mukesh Malaud, Sandeep Nayar said that Veeran is the creation of a new type of man. The character construction of the novel is realistic. The novelist is also a poet, so there is a glimpse of his poetic style in this novel. The novelist has raised the issue of land and the struggle. The novel by novelist Sukhwinder Pappi is a continuation of the description and direction of women's liberation, the struggle for land, the struggles against caste oppression and the struggles of women's self-respect. He said that one cannot move forward by going away from one's roots. We need to protect our heroes otherwise our opponents will protect our heroes.
        Narrator Ajmer Sidhu moderated the stage. Navtej Garhdiwala, Bhupinder Singh Waraich, Kulwinder Kulla, Balveer Kumar, Hari Ram Rasulpuri, Ramanjot, Harwinder Singh, Kirandeep Kaur, Jeet Kaur Khurd recited poems in the Kawi Darbar. Novelists Sukhwinder Pappi and Mukesh Malaud were also honored on this occasion. Amarjit Kaur thanked.
