Nawanshahr - The monthly meeting of Bharti Kisan Union Rajewal was held under the chairmanship of President Santokh Singh. In which, speaking about the interim budget of the central government, the district press secretary of the union, Sarpanch Kulwinder Paragpur, said that the farmers and laborers had a lot of expectations in this budget. That seeing the condition of farmers and laborers, the Modi government will make everyone happy with the things related to crops and agriculture in its last budget.
But on the contrary, people had to face disappointment like before. Increase in diesel prices, no relief on agricultural daily use items, no mention of farmers' loans, but no relief on daily use items of poor labourers, no mention of MSP on crops . Keeping all these things in mind, instead of giving benefits to farmers, laborers, more benefits have been given to corporate houses. Finally, farmers and laborers have to take to the streets for their rights as before. On this occasion, apart from others, District Secretary Gurmukh Singh, Surjit Singh, Amrik Singh, Balveer Singh, Bikram Singh, AAP District Youth Wing President Harpreet Singh, Joseon Singh, Numdar Dharam Pal and Davinder Singh were present in large numbers.
