Mandi Gobindgarh, November 15 - Children's Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm at Desh Bhagat Global School to celebrate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Many interesting and exciting cultural programs were presented in the Children's Day program, which included songs, humorous skits.
The enchanting dance performed by the teachers made the Children's Day special and memorable. Lemon, spoon run, sack run, kangaroo run were organized for the junior students. Inter-house volleyball matches were also organized for the senior students. The teachers of the school presented the morning assembly with prayers, news, today's thoughts and after this, PT practice was done.
A beautiful skit was also presented by the teachers. Principal Mrs. Indu Sharma gave her best wishes to the children and shared information about the importance of this day with the children. The Chairman of the school Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated the children on this special day.
