  In this regard, as per the instructions issued by the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission and the orders of the Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur, checking of 22 buses in Triple M Education Institute Dasuha and St. Augustine School, Pandori Lamir Dasuha under the Safe School Vehicle Policy. During checking, school buses which have expired first aid kits, no lady attendant, no passing, no speed governor, no emergency exit in the bus, no fire extinguisher, no CCTV camera, Deficiencies such as excess seating capacity were found in the bus, the challan of those 9 buses was deducted.
Giving information in this regard, Child Protection Officer Yogesh Kumar said that buses that do not meet the requirements as per the Safe School Vehicle Policy, there is often a risk of accidents. On this occasion, the task force said that this campaign will be conducted continuously in the entire district. The task force instructed all the schools that all drivers should undergo medical check-up on time, all bus drivers and attendants must wear their uniforms, take special care of small children traveling in buses while boarding and alighting from the bus. Road crossings should be conducted in a proper manner and any deficiencies found in the school buses should be removed immediately.
On this occasion, social worker Ranjit Kaur, Malkit Singh, Ashok Kumar, traffic police Santokh Singh, Amandeep Singh from SDM office Dasuha and other officials were also present.
