On Sunday, a horrific accident occurred when an oil tanker overturned

Una, April 8 - Deputy Commissioner Una, Jatin Lal visited the accident site on Monday to take stock of the damage caused by the oil tanker overturning in the industrial area Tahliwal. He assured all possible help to the affected people and asked the concerned officials to submit a detailed report of the case. He directed the officials to find out the causes of the accident so that necessary corrective steps can be taken so that such accidents do not recur in future.
During this time SDM Haroli Rajeev Kumar and other concerned officials remained with him.
It is noteworthy that on Sunday, a tanker full of oil overturned on the road at Tahliwal Chowk and a huge fire broke out in it. One person died in this accident, while 8 others were injured. At the same time, about 15 shops and vehicles have suffered heavy damage due to the fire.
The Deputy Commissioner said that immediate relief has been provided to the accident victims as per the rules. The injured have been admitted to the Regional Hospital Una for treatment and instructions have also been given to the Health Department to provide them the best possible care and treatment.
