Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar witnessed a momentous occasion on March 16, 2024 when it hosted its 19th convocation ceremony. The event was a celebration of academic achievement, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication by graduating students. .

The convocation address was delivered by a special guest, Dr Sameer V Kamat, Secretary, Department of Defense Research and Development and Chairman, DRDO. Various degrees were awarded to 1504 students in the convocation. Dr Sameer V Kamat congratulated the young graduate students for obtaining their degrees from an institution of national repute And emphasized on the role of technology in shaping the future of the country as well as taking it forward with the hard work and dedication of the students. He said that he was very happy to see the enthusiasm of the students
