
"Sweep" team made students aware in Government Mahindra College
Patiala, March 15 - Under the direction of District Election Officer, Patiala, sweep activities were organized for students in Government Mahindra College, Patiala. In which District Nodal Officer Prof. Savinder Rekhi, Sweep Nodal Officer Mahindra College Prof. Hardeep Singh and the sweep team encouraged the student voters to increase their participation and 100 percent participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for the strengthening of democracy.

In which District Nodal Officer Prof. Savinder Rekhi, Sweep Nodal Officer Mahindra College Prof. Hardeep Singh and the sweep team encouraged the student voters to increase their participation and 100 percent participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for the strengthening of democracy. With this, the students were also given information about the online apps run by the Election Department - Voter Help Line App, Saksham App, C Vijal. And by appealing to the students to go to their nearby houses and encourage the voters to vote so that the vote percentage of the district can be increased. Human Chan, voter prana and sweep activities were also conducted at the college.
During the program, the selfie stand of the Lok Sabha elections was the center of attraction among the students where students took selfies and shared these selfies with their peers to contribute to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The sweep team put up posters regarding the sweep activities in the bus stand, vegetable market, railway station, parks of the city. On this occasion, College Principal Prof. Amarjit Singh, Assistant District Sweep Nodal Officer Mohit Kaushal, Barinder Singh, Avtar Singh and all the staff and students of the college also participated.
