Rajpura, January 28 - Daily weapon training was organised by 5 Punjab Battalion NCC at the local Patel Memorial National College.
A college spokesperson informed that under the leadership of ANO Lt. Dr. Jaideep Singh and Principal Dr. Chandra Prakash of CC Patiala, Shaurya Chakra winner Subedar Sukhraj Singh, CHM Manoj Kumar and 4 PI staff, who arrived as dignitaries from Patiala, first conducted drill practice for the NCC cadets and then gave information about operating, disassembling and reassembling AK-47 and other weapons as well as using the map.
Apart from NCC cadets of Patel College, NCC cadets of Government ITI and Sweet College Rajpura also participated in the camp.
Director Rajiv Bahia, Registrar Dr. Sher Singh, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Dr. Vandana Gupta and Coach Harpreet Singh were also present on the occasion.
