SAS Nagar December 19, 2024: SDM Kharar Gurmander Singh said that free yoga classes are being held at different places in SAS Nagar district every day under the CM's Yogashala started by Chief Minister, Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann keeping in mind the well-being of the people.
People are taking full advantage of these yoga classes and are freeing themselves from diseases and stress. The enthusiasm and number of people in these camps is increasing day by day. People who practice yoga say that by waking up early in the morning for yoga, they feel fresh all day and now they have made yoga asanas a part of their life.
Giving more information in this regard, SDM Kharar, Gurmander Singh said that CM Yogashala classes are being held at different places in Kharar sub-division. Which are proving to be a boon for the health of the people. A large number of district residents are benefiting from these yoga classes. 6 yoga sessions are being conducted by expert yoga trainers from morning to evening. These sessions have different time slots. Yoga trainer Rohit Kumar said that he conducts 6 yoga classes daily in Kharar. They conduct their first class at Municipal Council Office, Jandpur from 6.30 am to 7.30 am, second class at Aman City from 10.00 am to 11.00 am, third class at Green Wood Residency, Kharar from 11.20 am to 12.20 pm and fourth class at Mini Park Model Town, Kharar from 3.40 pm to 4.40 pm, fifth class at Phase-6 (Park near House No. 705) from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm and sixth class at Sector, 123, Sunny Enclave, Kharar from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm.
Yoga teachers are making a valuable contribution to keeping the body fit and disease-free without medication through various yoga postures such as asana, pranayama and meditation. Trainer Rohit said that with daily yoga practice, Kuldeep Kaur got rid of knee pain and Avtar Singh got rid of diabetes. Anyone can come to these classes and get the benefits of yoga for free.
He said that if a person wants to start a class in his colony or park, then there must be at least 25 members and he can call/message on the WhatsApp number to start his new class/session.
