Nawanshahr - Today the District Committee of Kirti Kisan Union led by District President Surinder Singh Bains met the Deputy Commissioner Navjotpal Singh Randhawa and SSP yesterday Rupinder Kaur widow Harwant Singh resident of Shakti Nagar, Kulam Road Nawanshahr village Alowal (Tehsil Balachore) farm. They have demanded strict action against Dinesh Kumar resident of Malerkotla, Sandeep Kumar resident of Junna, Balachore who brought 50-60 persons in vehicles with the intention of occupying the house.

Rupinder Kaur has said that they cultivate about 17 acres of land. which is their native land. There is a court case of this land with his father-in-law Rajinder Singh. Despite the ongoing court case, Rajinder Singh sold this land to the said two persons by hiding the facts and flouting the rules of the revenue department. Application to Tehsildar Balachore to stop transfer of land is received. On which the said case is under hearing on 20 February 2024 before SDM Balachore. Rupinder Kaur says that the said persons yesterday broke the beams of her farm house and broke the CCTV cameras. They demanded that legal action should be taken against the alleged culprits after investigating the matter.
