SAS Nagar, February 1 – Indus Public School has bagged the first position in Punjab in the inter-school competition of 27 schools across Punjab under Environmental Education Program 2023-24 at Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib.

School Director Colonel (Retd) SPS Cheema and School Principal Parampreet Kaur Cheema said that under the banner 'Nature', sponsored by the Punjab State Council of Science and Technology, Chandigarh and supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India. About four hundred students from different schools participated in this two-day state inter-school competition.

He said that during this time, the students of the schools where various activities related to the maintenance of the environment such as educational workshops, exhibitions, making collages, quiz, poster presentation and story writing competitions etc. were pitted against each other.
