
World Day celebrated to keep the disabled connected to the mainstream of society
Patiala, December 10: On the occasion of World Day (International Day of Persons with Disabilities), a program was organized at the District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau, Patiala. Representatives of the District Industries Center, SC Corporation, BC Corporation, Punjab Skill Development Mission and R.SETI participated in this event. 22 disabled persons participated in this program.

On this occasion, Deputy CEO District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau Satinder Singh described the disabled as an important part of the society and said that the main purpose of celebrating such a day is to keep the disabled persons connected to the mainstream of society. He said that every person has some deficiency and talent and we should try to improve our talent by removing our deficiency and he also shared information about the facilities provided by the Employment Bureau.
He congratulated on this special day and said that hard work makes up for every deficiency in a human being. On this occasion, he also motivated the differently-abled to vote so that they can play their important role in the biggest festival of democracy. On this occasion, Rupasi Pahuja Career Counselor said that nowadays, due to new technologies, revolutionary work has been done towards the facilities of differently-abled and universities should directly connect with the society by organizing such events so that the problems in the society can be understood and work can be done on it.
