Haryana/Hisar: RTI activist PP Kapoor has appealed to the state's Cooperative Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma and constituency MLA Manmohan Bhadana not to attend the inauguration ceremony of a private hospital in Samalkha on June 8. Warned that if the encroachment is not removed from the municipal land soon and the map of the private hospital is not cancelled, a named case will be filed against the municipal officials in the Lokayukta Court.
Kapoor alleged that the private hospital in Samalkha, which Minister Arvind Sharma, MLA Manmohan Bhadna and Ganaur MLA Devendra Kadian are coming to inaugurate on June 8, has been made accessible from GT Road by illegally occupying the Municipal Corporation's land worth crores of rupees. The participation of these leaders in this program will send a message to the public that the government is involved in this scam.
Comrade Kapoor said that the Municipal Corporation has also filed a case against this private hospital in the court. According to the demarcation report done by the Tehsildar, about 640 square yards of land is owned by the Municipal Corporation.
The Municipal Corporation had sent a notice to the private hospital owner to vacate the illegal occupation and had also recently erected pillars on the occupied land.
It was alleged that the private hospital owners uprooted these pillars due to their political influence and the connivance of the Municipal Corporation officials and did not care about the notices and court cases.
Kapoor has demanded from DC Virendra Dahiya and District Municipal Commissioner and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Pankaj that the Municipal Corporation should immediately take possession of its 640 square yard land worth crores of rupees by building a wall and immediately cancel the approved map and property ID of the private hospital. He warned that if action is not taken by vacating the illegal occupation soon, then a named case will be filed against the officials in the Lokayukta Court next week.
