Nawanshahr - Additional District Magistrate Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Rajiv Verma has informed that under Section 6(1)(g) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the applicant Shri Prashotam Singh son of Shri Joginder Singh resident of Mussapur, Tehsil Nawanshahr District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar License No. 14/MA/MC2 dated 28-08-2015 issued to Firm M/S “JAY PEE TRAVELS” Opposite Anmol Palace, GT Road, Banga, Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar is revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
   According to the rules made by Additional District Magistrate Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act, two months before the date of expiry of the license, the relevant documents are applied. However, the license holder's application for renewing the license was not submitted in the office. A show cause notice was issued to the license holder Shri Prashotam Singh in this regard. In this regard, Mr. Prashotam Singh, son of Mr. Joginder Singh, resident of Mussapur, Tehsil Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, said that he wants to end the work of the travel agency. And during Corona he stopped the work of the agency And since then he has not done any work through the travel agency. Therefore, his said travel license should be cancelled. In this regard, the said license has been canceled by the Additional District Magistrate under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act.
   Additional District Magistrate Rajeev Verma has stated that apart from the above, under Section 6(1)(g) under Rule 2013 under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the applicant Mr. Hardeep Singh son of Mr. Gurmeet Singh resident of 55, Ishar Puri, Colony, 66 Foot Road, Opposite Punjab & Sindh Bank Jalandhar License No. 96/MA/MC2 Dated 17-07-2018 Firm “Loyal wise study” JK Plaza, Above Yes Bank, Main Phagwara Road, Banga, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar is canceled with immediate effect.
   In this regard, the concerned applicant Mr. Hardeep Singh has penned his statement that he has stopped his work as a travel agency and has not renewed it further. In this regard, the said license has been canceled by the Additional District Magistrate under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act.
